GLUTEN FREE Delicious Fish Tacos!



Another delicious healthy recipe from the internet. Enjoy fish tacos WITHOUT the calories and all of the unhealthy ingredients! Notice that that traditional white flour tortillas are NOT used in this recipe, but instead the healthy corn or brown rice flour tortilla's are used!
Recipe for Fish Tacos

lately, since fish is an important element of a healthy diet. Fish is combined with other scrumptious ingredients and then wrapped in a warm corn tortilla. Just use any firm white fish, and add some other tasty taco ingredients to create the fish taco recipe of your dreams.
Fish Taco Recipe
Ingredients You Will Need:
1 pound fresh fish (any white fish)
½ cup vegetable oil
1 lime, squeezed
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
½ teaspoons lemon pepper
½ teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
½ teaspoons salt
12 corn or brown rice tortillas heated
½ cup red cabbage, shredded
1 ripe avocado, thinly sliced
8 ounces salsa
8 ounces mayonnaise

Combine the fish, ½ of the oil, lime juice, cilantro, lemon pepper, red pepper and salt in a plastic bag, and let marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Then, sauté the fish, using the rest of the oil, for about 5 minutes. Set fish aside, and flake it with a fork to separate.
Now, cover your tortillas with paper towels, and heat them in the microwave about 20 seconds until warm. Finally, take a tortilla and fill it with the fish, cabbage, avocado slices, salsa and mayonnaise.
Tip
Remember, always allow your guests to build their own tacos so that they get the perfect amount of ingredients. Also, this keeps the taco from getting soggy when it is made to order and eaten immediately.
