The Brother and Sis in Laws 3rd Wedding Anniversary Meant Sophia Time :-)

This week was my brother and sister in laws 3rd wedding anniversary, so while they went out for an elegant dinner, Grandma and Aunt Carolyn had Sophia time that night.  BELOW:  Sopbia wasn't too happy to realize that only Dad and Mom were going out and not taking her.  She's a smart gal, so she went into her bag, looked at me and said "bla" (her version of saying blanket), and pulled out her blanket and laid on it sulking for about 10 minutes.  :-)!
After a few minutes of sulking she became a good girl and started enjoying herself.  :-)

ABOVE:  Sophia is probably thinking, put me down Aunt Carolyn, no time for pictures, I want to play!
BELOW:  Grandma took some pics of Sophia using Aunt Carolyn as a playground.  :-)

ABOVE:  Making fun sound effects with my Aunt!  That's what Aunts and Nieces do together at my age.  :-)

ABOVE:  One day I'll be able to read, but for right now, Grandma and Aunt Carolyn keep emphasizing that I am holding a book, and I impressed them by saying book back.  I can say book, now I just need to learn to read the book.  :-)

BELOW:  Daddy and Mommy are back and I'm still awake way after my bedtime!  :-)

A Nice AC Senior Class of 2016 Gathering and a Soul Food Picnic

The lovely AC Senior Class of 2016 the weekend before their Senior year classes begin.
This little private  gathering was in honor of Daryle Hochstetler and Lauren Eames who are about to leave the Edmond HQ AC campus and embark upon a new adventure of transferring to the Edstone AC campus in the United Kingdom.  Their classmates and the rest of us will miss them, but are so happy for the opportunity that God has afforded them.  Looking forward to seeing everyone all back together from Edstone and Edmond here at Armstrong Auditorium for AC Graduation in the spring!  For now, here are two group shots of the AC Senior class of 2016 with Daryle and Lauren before they head up into the blue yonder.  :-)  (Not pictured is Justin Goodearl who was visiting in the Philippines, but he sent his regards. :-) )

Definitely not to forget the Seniors already at Edstone via Skyppe......Kiall Lorenz, Sam Livingston, and Jessica Dalton.  We all miss these jewels so much.  I am looking forward to seeing them back here for their graduation in May!  Thanks to them for staying up so late Edstone time to connect with their classmates here, and thanks to Paulette for the Edstone Skype gathering on her computer!
THE VIDEOS---of Edstone and Edmond Seniors Chatting via Skype.  It was so pleasant seeing the agape between the classmates.  Great class who are always serving!

BELOW:  Victoria Terrell's sister, to the right, came to town to visit her sister, so she was a special guest..  Happy to have gotten to know her some.

A NICE SOUL FOOD PICNIC!

Switching gears gong back to last week......
Thanks to the above friends for the good time at the soul food picnic last week.  The food was so yummy, the fellowship was great, and the fun and laughs shared were priceless!  It was truly an uplifting evening in building up the family.
