A Busy Day of Wedding Shopping!

 Sonia and I went out on a major wedding shopping day today on Sunday.  We now have a wedding dress for her!  Of course, the photo of that is NOT pictured...the groom...aka my brother....and everyone else will see it at the wedding, but it's beautiful!  We found the tux's for the guys today too.  They are going to look suave!  After about 6 hours, we finished.  Long, productive Sunday!  More wedding shopping this Wednesday...bridemaid dresses, shoes for bride and attendants, fabric store....etc.

When we FINALLY got home after a long Sunday we both had a glass of champagne.

Damaged Gold Plated Mug Design

So this weekend I found out the hard way that my mug that I bought from Princeton in NJ had real gold on it....or technially was gold plated.  I thought it was just painted gold, so I put it in the microwave and sparks started flying.  (If you put gold in a microwave sparks fly.)  I had to run and turn off the microwave realizing I had damaged my gold plated cup.  It's not as pretty but it's still okay!...just felt dumb for not knowing!  :-)

Videos From New Jersey Trip

On the first "Jonathan teeth video" I was feeling a little icky the first day I visited, so he heard me ask his mom if she had any advil, and she said she had alieve b/c she had, had a tooth ache, and it's amazing what little kids pick up b/c he totally made up his toothache video b/c of that one little conversation.  I felt great the rest of my trip, but on the second day, little Jonathan came and asked me if I needed an alieve and offered to get it for me.  ha, ha...Too cute...I told him I was feeling just fine and didn't need one!  :-)!  Jonathan was so funny that I made up a Jonathan Funny List!

 Been having fun in New Jersey with the Barkei's.  Nathan and Anita at dinner.  Great couple!

Tomorrow going to Jeff & Lucie Visconti's House for a few days of more fun!

 Anita made homemade sushi for dinner and her daughter Laurel wanted to dig in.  :-)

New Dress Design: African Animal Print

 My latest new dress design:  African Animal Print shown full length

 My signature CCoatsofManyColour double styled straps.  The regular 2 inch straps with the halter strap attached.  People seem to really like this design on my dresses.  The 2 inch straps are made from leather look alike fabric; not real leather as it would be too hot to wear on a sundress worn in summertime.  The halter strap is made from sheer fabric.
