Tiffany Watson's Going Away Get Together

Yesterday evening a few friends got together for a going away get together for Tiffany Watson.  We are going to miss this lovely young lady.  It is bitter sweet.  It's sad that she won't be in our midst on a regular basis anymore, but at the same time it will be exciting to see what God is doing with her life now as she moves on to new life adventures to keep building and growing in character and in serving God.  One of the greatest blessings in life is having God in our lives directing it.  It makes life exciting and very worthwhile.  :-)  Group photo by Stephen Coats

Get Your Sophia Fix Today. :-)!

Who needs to buy me expensive toys when I can use my Aunt Carolyn as a drum.  Apparently, I'm still cute enough to get away with using her as a drum.  She doesn't seem to mind.  She even laughed at the idea herself on the second video and of course that gave me license to laugh too.

ABOVE:  Now I'm playing with a ziploc bag.  I'm easy to please.  Give me some paper or plastic, my Aunt's knee, and I'm set to play!  :-)
BELOW:  Trying to tell my Aunt something, but the words just won't come out yet, but she seems to understand me anyway.
BELOW:  Playing with my new Bible flash cards from my Aunt.

I should make a baby work out exercise video and see if it becomes a hit in baby households.  I see Grandma's walker way more than just a walker, it is a baby jungle gym and monkey bars all in one!
BELOW:  I think I'm going to play a percussion instrument.  I love the Maracas!  When you shake them they make a noise.

ABOVE:  In your face, Aunt Carolyn
BELOW:  Wishing Mommy would let me fly off the bed.  :-)

ABOVE:  That's not how the song goes at all Aunt Carolyn.  I'm going to tell Mommy you're not singing it right.  If you don't know how to sing my favorite children's song, then don't try to make it up, just don't try to sing it. :-)

Why are you always stalking me with your camera phone Aunt Carolyn?
ABOVE:  People say my personality seems to be like my Aunt Carolyn's, but I'm into working out way more than she is.  Maybe if I show her and grandma how fun it is to workout, they'll start doing it too.  :-)
BELOW:  I have teeth.  Look out world.  :-)

ABOVE:  Loving this Mommy and daughter interaction photo!
BELOW:  Hi, Aunt CC, Mommy won't let me jump off of the bed, but maybe if I smile at you, you'll let me jump off.  ...and people think babies don't have functional minds.  :-)!

Children's Bible Flashcards

I'm almost finished making my little niece Bible flash cards.  At the age that she is at now, they will be nothing but something to suck on in the mouth, and flap around in her hands which I took into consideration in their making, but the info will be subconsciously going into her brain.  I once asked a minister's mom how her son knew the Bible so well besides going through AC, and she told me that she started him on Bible flashcards from the time he was a baby on into his boyhood and that's it is never too young, and so it begins with my niece.  :-)  I got the idea and template from pinterest, but I used different Bible verses and used the KJV of the Bible.  Fun!

Our Father's Day

It's tradition to cook breakfast for dad on Father's Day, but since my mom is on bed rest recovering things were a bit different this year.  I cooked a chicken casserole type dish this year for lunch.  After he finished lunch Michael C. and Jordan E. came to help mow my lawn and my parents lawn thanks to my dad arranging it.  I don't take that for granted.  Thanks to all of these great real men! I'm very appreciative!
Later on, on Father's Day my brother and sister in law had a BBQ w/my bro's volleyball team, and Deepika, Anya T. and Julia H. came over to my place to say hi, but I didn't get a picture of them unfortunately, but a little later on, Conner B and Melinda came over with their son Alec, and niece Savannah and nephew Cineath.  This was very special since Savannah and Cineath apparently were the ones who asked to come over to see mom.  My brother and I grew up as kids with Conner and Melinda, and we've known their niece and nephew, and son since they were born.  A nice full Father's Day that was a bit different!  Lesson of the day besides honoring Father's is always have your house clean and be dressed appropriately at all times.  :-)

My fav pic of Alec and mom though I missed getting a shot of Cineath who started the hugging. Nice young man!
