The Amazing David Vejil Family

They say the youngest child in most families is always the liveliest and most different one in a family.  If you go by the clothes in this lovely pic of the wonderful David Vejil family, then that would be true.  :-)  They came into the office to visit their Dad, and everyone had black on coincidentally except for the baby of the family.  Bright yellow!  Amazing and loving family!   Thanks to them for letting me do an impromptu candid photo shoot of this stand out moment in time. Hope they will like my creativity with the photos.   :-)

Visiting the Wittsell's

Thanks to Charles and Tasha Wittsell for having a few of us over to their home.  It was my first visit to their home and spending real quality time with them since they've become married.  For a young newly wed couple, they are so blessed.  Their home is such a blessing and even more importantly it's a home filled with love!  A bonus is that they live about 12 minutes from my place.  New lovely neighbors!  :-)
What do you see when you are a guest at a super handy man's house?...two handy men friends, Charles and also another handy man friend, Conner Brown, taking the frig door off, switching the sides the hinges are on so that the door will open the opposite direction for Tasha's convenience, and then putting it back on!  Yeah for handy men!  :-)!

Whoever got them these way cool mugs for a wedding gift did good.  :-)

Fav Quote

Thanks to Mrs. Brandon for sending this to me.  It was beautiful timing.  I was having one of those days that builds character, and then this came in my inbox and she didn't even know I was having a character building day.  Mrs. Brandon is definitely a woman I can look up to for example.

Dinner with Arianne and Calela and Aimee's Going Away Party

Strengthening sister bonds with Arianne Olsen and Calela Brooks at Teds.  Yummy Mexican food with the gals.
By the time we got out meal after all of the chips and salsa we hardly touched our main meal.

Switching gears:  After dinner with the gals it was time to head to a private going away party for Aimee Goulet hosted by the lovely ladies Coleen V and Bettie A..
They had an amazing spread at this party.

Officially an Aunt :-)

While taking a vacation day today, my niece and her mom came over and visited and Sophia made me into an official Aunt today.  She called me "Aunt" for the first time though her version of saying it was more like "Ahhh" while she pointed at me each time she said it.   :-)  Below, I got artistically wild and made a collage from today of Sophia playing with her Bible ABC flashcards that I made for her awhile back, and shown with a pencil sketch of her and photo of her in the background, not to me mention her leopard top she had on today.

Bad days turn into good ones when you think on the fact that it is an awesome opportunity to build character that you wouldn't have otherwise had.

Videos and Pics from a Fun Live Karaoke Jam Session

VIDEOS from a fun karaoke live jam session night at Reese Zoellner's bachelors pad for the music lovers.  So many talented musicians.  :-) Thanks to Reese for hosting it.

Victoria L. stole the show in I Will Survive singing.  :-)  I always thought that I was energetic until I met Victoria.  Her energy level and enthusiasm rocks!  :-)

Tree Trimming Time

Oops, the video works now.  :-)

It's such a blessing to have such nice extended family brothers who come over first thing in the early morning on a Sunday to trim a tree damaged by the ice storm the week before.  Thanks to Jordan Ellis and Joel Hudson-Stewart for doing this.  As a thank you token I made an impromptu breakfast of turkey bacon, an orange, oreo cookies, yes that's right :-), and hot cocoa with caramel drizzled in and handed it to them outside while they worked.  That's called a "pull what you have out and put something on a plate and in a cup in 10 minutes."  :-)  That was the least I could do.
