Making & Putting up Safari Netting!

A few posts back I knew I wanted to put safari netting up for my bed since I have netting up in the guest room in my home...well, I started that project today.  It's shimmering gold netting...the photo doesn't show the gold as shiny, but it is....Believe it or not...8 yards is what you see in the pic, yeah....so I have to go and get 10 more yards to finish the other half.  I can't believe how much fabric it takes!  Wish I had known how much to get when I was in the fabric store!
The beauty of it is that God blessed me with a 50% OFF coupon...so check out how much I saved shown on the receipt.  Yeah, it's great to have God helping you ont in every aspect of life!  Wow, 50% off!

Scents of Happiness!

It's been a little more hectic for me over the past few weeks than usual, so I've let a few things at home go that shouldn't have gone.  I'm usually obsessed with keeping my home clean.  One thing is that I haven't taken out the trash in over a week.  GROSS!...so annoying fruit flies were flying around the garbage....those things won't die even with bug spray, and I don't like to use bug spray b/c of inhaling the toxic chemicals, so it dawned upon me to try my all natural SCENTS OF HAPPINESS insect repellent, and it worked like a charm.  Bye, bye little flies!  I've been working on my CULINARY ELEGANCE shop b/c of the cookbook, so my Scents of Happiness Shop has suffered...so here's a plug for that shop.  Above is all natural insect repellent in a spray bottle.
A customers comment:
This really worked - I loved it. Kept the bugs at bay as promised and smells great. No toxic chemicals.
A few previous customers comments on my all natural shampoo!(shown above):

Absolutely wonderful! the scent is beautiful, the product works wonderfully. was scent an extra due to a mishap of some type. your professionalism and high quality has made me a customer for life!

Love love this. I have problems with allergies to alot of products, none with this. The peppermint is a great refreshing scent. Thanks again.

NEW His & Hers Classy Animal Print Necktie & Scarf Set!

I FINALLY completed this his and hers matching classy animal print design that I started MONTHS AGO!  The men's necktie is hand sewn and is silky smooth to the touch.  The fabric is so soft is was quite difficult to sew, so I am going to do another and put the second one up for sell once it's finished, but will hang on to this one as it snagged in a few spots...tough fabric!

This is the hers matching classy animal print scarf that goes with the necktie.  I had finished the scarf months back...just had to work on the tie for the men.  VERY happy with it!

Another Behind the Scenes Shot

Photo that Sean Welsh emailed for my blog of him and Josh Sloan taken by someone backstage day of Jeremiah World Premier.  This pic was intended to be in the original stash of behind the scene photos that I took.  Gladys told me it's already hit twitterville via another friend, so I'm late.  ha, ha!

You Know You're On the Verge of Getting Sick When......

....after filming Jeremiah Musical for DVD with everyone you go shopping at the health food store of all places and a TOTAL STRANGER comes up behind you and asks "are you just getting off work or are you sick b/c you look very tired." Wow, must have looked horrible!  I don't feel 100%  I'm okay, just trying to fight off whatever is trying to catch on.  Strangest thing is craving for raw fish...Here are pictures of my first attempt at making homemade sushi for dinner...not pretty AT ALL...seaweed is cut all jagged....oops!, but it tastes okay!

For those who like to follow my blog for "royal fashion", new designs for both men and women will be coming SOON.  In the meantime, here's a pair of Satin Blue Shoes ON SALE for almost NOTHING; I got them for peanuts.  God really does bless us even in small little ways!  Like my motto goes, I don't believe in dressing for vanity, that's shallow, but I believe we represent God and we should look our best for Him.

HQ Staff and Ministers Dinner

The HQ Staff and Ministers dinner was just fabulous!  Here are a few pics.  Above is a shot that I absolutely love of Mr. and Mrs. Dattolo and their fab daughter Rachel Dattolo.  All of the pics can be found on my password protected site at:  www.royaltruecolours.com
Fellowshipping during the dinner at one of the tables.  I really like this picture b/c Sean and Gladys Welsh have great smiles going on!
Thanks to Benjamin Tauer for taking this pic of Mrs. Githembe from Africa and myself at the dinner table.
Mr. Hessong and Benjamin Tauer chat before dinner.
The theme of the dinner was Ireland.  Love the harp decor!  John & Kristen Rambo, Paulette Corey, & Ramona Larsen did the decor.
Under Mr. Malone's direction the IA kids provided live classical music for the evening.  They are VERY talented at such young ages.
Edwin and Jenny Trebels enjoying dinner with Mr. Staal from Netherlands.
This was my name place setting.  One of the nicest I've seen!
 The appetizer.
 The salad course....was different.
Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Eagle enjoying dinner
A massive table of ministers and staff enjoying the dinner.
Okay, so I heard that Autumn Krueger did the flower decoration on top of the soup...See the flower...pretty neat!
The main course was SO BIG, not exaggerated; picture does not do it justice, that Mr. Locher had to get up and announce to everyone that we could get to go boxes!  WOW!
The dessert course was yummy.  Again in keeping the Irish theme.  Yes, I broke diet and enjoyed!
Like this pic even though it's a little out of focus.  Was taken by Rachel Dattolo at the end of the night.  Mr. and Mrs. Joel Hilliker, Mr. and Mrs. Githembe, Tiffany Watson, Benjamin Tauer, and myself.
After I ate my ice cream I got so cold I was shivering, LITERALLY...Mr. Joel Hilliker was so kind, he got up and got me a shot of whiskey which warmed me up a bit...Then the funny was when Mrs. Hilliker asked if I was going to be okay driving home I was so tired I guess it showed.....I thought she meant b/c I was so cold...so I answered, "I'm okay now that I've had whiskey."  You all can only imagine all the jokes I got when I said that!  ha, ha!  I guess I really was tired.  What a fun way to end a great royal evening!

Behind the Scenes Photos From Jeremiah Musical

A few behind the scenes pics at Jeremiah Musical yesterday.  Love this photo of Audrey Locher and Lindsay Eagle.  They did great in the show!  It went great...was a full house...every seat was filled and people were even standing at Armstrong Auditorium.  Was a blessing to even be a part of it.  ALL PHOTOS that I took at www. royaltruecolours.com
Was proud of Justin Bacon...he did an excellent job portraying the role of Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar!....ummm he played the dictator part a little too well.  ha, ha!  Good job Justin!
Love this pic of Paula Powell and Katherine Harmon getting some shut eye before putting on costumes and going on stage.  Love the expressions in this photo.....Paula Powell looks like she's thinking...."great, there's Carolyn AGAIN taking photos and I haven't even drunk my coffee yet....leave me alone!"....and there's Katherine who looks like she's thinking, "ahhhh....it's so nice to have a great shoulder to sleep on."
Was so neat that Chrissy Dattolo all the way from Canada, got to perform in the musical.  Love this kid.  She got to dance with the bad Babylonian soldiers who seized the city!  That's her mom Mrs. Dattolo with her.  A family reunion week for them it has been!
That would be me.  I can't remember who took this photo, but thanks to whoever did.  I really loved my costume.  Thanks to Mrs. Cheryl Davis for making it!
The kids really enjoyed being in the musical...this is them during the musical when other parts were on stage and we were waiting on our turn to hit the stage lights!  :-)
This sleeping bag bump is Alexa Turgeon....she was smart and took a quick cat nap right before the show started.  Was a busy and intense weekend for everyone.  Not a lot of time to sleep or socialize with visiting friends and family b/c we were practicing for show Sat. Night, Sunday morning, quick lunch and then showtime!
....and now we have a hand showing.  :-)
Sarah Icasiano, friend and AC student smiles with Lindsay Eagle after just "suiting up" for the show.
Love this pic of Jordy Rouzer....with the shopping bag in the pic, and the way she is posing in her costume, it looks like she's trying to bring the ancient style of women back into fashion.  :-)!  Not a bad look!  ha, ha!!!

Hannah Estebat eats an apple before showtime making sure not to get any on her beautiful white dress!
Teens Ansley Welsh, Ashlynn McLain, and Brianna Weeks relax before showtime.

Abby Benedetti smiles in her "evil Babylonian" costume with Jordy Rouzer taking a quick cat nap in the pic,
Edwin Trebels poses in his get up for the musical!  Loved his costume!
Jamie Hawkins smiles for my camera before heading on stage for showtime!
Really like this pic of Olivia Culpepper and myself..taken before showtime!
....and the Jeremiah Musical was a perfect opportunity for me to buy a pair of cute sandals!  Wore these in the show.  So comfy and only $10 bucks...found them on clearance at the shoe store!
