A Walk with Sophia!

Almost every weekend after services, my Aunt takes me for a walk on campus.  My favorite spots are the Swans in Flight and the Waterfall, and I've gotten into liking the rock areas too.  My Daddy and Aunt use to like to visit the Swans in Flight when they were kids down in Texas at AC where they grew up, so it's super neat that I get to experience that now that they are up here where we live now.  My Aunt is the type that likes to take me for a walk, but if I'm too slow in being ready, she'll go home, so this week as soon as I saw her, I said "walk, wanna walk, wanna walk" and she took me with my Mama's permission.  On the photo above I was thinking, really Aunt, do you always have to take so many photos of me.  Come on, we're suppose to be walking here.  BTW--I call my Aunt, simply Aunt, not Aunt Carolyn.  I can say Aunt Carolyn, yes I can, but I choose to call her Aunt.  I mean, you call Daddy, Daddy, you call Mama, Mama, you call Grandpa, Grandpa and sometimes Papa when I feel like it, and you call Grandma, Grandma, so Aunt is Aunt.  She's my only Aunt, so it just makes sense to me.  I'm a no non sense type of gal.
On the photo below, Aunt wanted to take a photo of us together, so I obliged her.  When grandma saw the photo she said we look so much alike.

I can act so girly and feminine like my Mama and my Aunt, but I also can be a tom boy too.  My Aunt use to like to play with dirt when she was young like me, and I like to play with rocks.  My Aunt wouldn't let me keep them though.  She said they weren't mine, so I had to put them back, and she reminded me what day of the week it was, and that I was getting my dress dirty. To be honest, my Mama cleans my clothes, I'm still too young, so sometimes I forget to think about those kind of things.  My Aunt's girly side loves beautiful dresses, so of course she would think of that.
After awhile my Aunt decided it was time to go back in before we got too hot outside.  At services they always serve apple juice to all of the kids who want it as a treat.  It might not be a big deal to adults, but to us kids, it's one of the days biggest highlights.  When we got back inside I went to Daddy and told him "Thirsty, want apple juice."  He then informed me that I was too late and that they had already stopped serving apple juice.
My reaction wasn't that pretty.  I looked at my Aunt and started crying and blamed her for missing my apple juice.  Look at my face below.  I was pretty upset.  My Aunt reminded me that I was the one who asked her to take me on a walk, and I was the one that kept telling her I wasn't ready to go back inside.
.....so I bucked up and sucked it all in and got happy again.  BTW--Happy is still my favorite song, so if I ever visit you, play that and I'll be a happy little girl.  Pun intended.  It all ended with me looking at my Mama in happiness as shown on the pic below though I was still honestly a little cranky from missing my apple juice.  A great service, a great walk, a little down about missing the apple juice, but then I thought, it's okay, I am blessed and happy!  ---THE END!
