Completed Necktie

I went to a small craft party this Sunday and was able to finish this necktie. I made it a smaller size so that it will be a boy's necktie instead of a man's I'm happy with it! I'm not selling this one, giving it away as a gift to a friend's son. Hope they will like!

A Dessert Tea

Friends know that I love taking photos of food, in fact I love it so much that I have a college degree in that! Yeah, wild, anyway, I made myself a cup of Chocolate Hazelnut Tea, yeah I know, yummy, and I put hazelnut creamer it it, topped it with whip cream, and drizzled caramel on top. The end result, well the photo tells it all!

More "Plant Designing"

This weekend I took a stroll outdoors to the watermelon, and serrano peppers planted. Here they are. I'm really being blessed in my "gardening" efforts. It's a tough year to gareden b/c it seems like a plague of grasshoppers is in our yard, but our neighbors have chickens who wander over in our yard, and the chickens eat up the grasshoppers, so right now I'm loving live chickens! :-) I also ran into a bee hard at work in a sunflower in the yard. I set my camera on the right setting to blur the background and focus just on the subject, zoomed way in (I'm terrified of bees, so I wasn't about to get too close) and was able to capture it. I'm loving my camera after these pics! :-)

Cilantro

Just when I had given up on my Cilantro coming up (all of my other herbs have been up and and thriving for weeks now) no sooner did my cilantro surface, over night it seemed. I hadn't watered it in over a week, so apparently Cilantro "likes to be left alone" to thrive, a loner plant, so I watered it when I first saw it lightly since it had gone for days without any TLC, but will go another week without watering it since it only sufaced when I left it alone....so that means all of my herbs that were planted came up. What a blessing. It's enjoyable to plant something from seed and nuture it and watch it grow, and then the fun part is cooking with it!

Another Behind The Scenes Pass!

Deep Conditioner Oil

You can see my hair growth (had my hair way shorter) in 2 months time.

You can see how shiny my hair is all naturally after conditioning.

Nice, healthy hair

Here are 3 photos starting with this one of my hair gone a few days without deep conditioning it, it's duller, not as shiny, BUT showing that if you deep condition even if just once a week hair is still healthy and vibrant.

So Happy to introduce Scents of Happiness Deep Conditioner! I believe that we should all take good care of ourselves, NOT for vanity purposes, but to live our physical lives to it's fullest so that we can look our best not for ourselves, but to let our lights shine showing others how we care for them by how we look since others have to look at us all day and not we ourselves whether it's dress, our hair, or others things. That is the purpose behind all of my shops....help taking the human body to it's highest level in proper appearance.

For the past several months an undercover operation has been going on in Scents of Happiness. :-) I've been testing my all NATURAL men and women's deep hair conditioner recipe of herbs and oils on friends hair of all different races, hair types, hair colors etc including my own hair. The blend of herbs and oils for this newest Scents of Happiness line has proved to be a BIG success promoting not only healthier looking hair when used, but also stronger hair, and quicker hair growth. My friends and myself that tested this all natural conditioner all got compliments on the days we deep conditioned. One person, not a tester, told me these exact words, "your hair looks really shiny and healthy today, in fact it's been looking a lot healthier lately" I didn't tell them I was testing a new hair product of mine, but they made my day. So, introducing, Scents of Happiness Deep Hair Conditioner, all natural!

Information for Hair Nerds
This is a deep oil conditioner, so when applying to hair, work it through all of your hair w/your fingers, and then rub it all the way into your scalp massaging the scalp working it into your pores. Apply blow dryer heat to hair for about 5 to 10 minutes with a hair blow dryer. The heat causes the oils to "melt" into your hair...aka deep conditioning it. Once the heat is taken away, leave conditioner on your hair for about least 30 minutes for best results, if you have time to let condition marinate on your hair for 1 hour even better, then rinse out of hair with water. Towel dry hair, and vahlah, beautiful shiny, healthy, strong hair. Rosemary oil is GREAT for everyone's hair, but even for men or women, if you are balding, rosemary oil combined with nettle leaves helps bald spots promoting hair growth in those areas again. For those of us blessed with a full head of hair, it keeps our hair healthy and full. Olive Oil is he best, and so is Almond Oil. Olive oil is a heavier oil, so encouraged for those w/dry brittle hair. Almond Oil is great for everyone else, lighter oil, not greasy at all, and is commonly found in conditioners. My recipe in my conditioner is of course all natural, but it changes according to hair types, dry, oily, brittle, balding, race, etc, but the main ingredients for everyone are vitamin e, jojoba oil, and other natural herbs and oils.

Behind the Scenes Pass

Here is the the finished product all bottled up and ready to be delivered! Notice how it lightens in color, and the shampoo consistency is spot on now ready for use and to sit out for it's shelf life at room temperature.

Here is the not yet ready shampoo after blending all ingredients ready to be chilled for a few hours to halp shampoo become right consistency. Notice it's darker color before it's chilled set and ready.

Here are the main ingredients, not all shown for obvious reasons :-) that make up my special all natural blend shampoos....baby mild castile soap with olive oil, vitamin E, the natural oil from the plant of the scent that you choose, jojoba oil (an oil very good for all hair types) and other herbs and oils.

I've been wanting to do this for awhile, it's just whenever I fulfill a Scents of Happiness Order, whether it be shampoo, body wash, vapor rub, or insect repellent, I get going into the making process and never pull out my camera. Finally, the other night, I fulfilled a shampoo order and took pictures during the process. Of course, the whole point of my Scents Of Happiness Shop is to make all NATURAL skin and hair products. I got tired of my skin and hair absorbing chemicals in, so here is a quick photo summery of the making of all natural shampoo. Enjoy!
