Just a few of my random candid shots from the min/staff dinner last night. This has been an event that I look forward to whenever it rolls around every min/con. It's a big blessing to be able to attend. One of those things in life not to take for granted. It truly was a royal evening with the younger Mr. and Mrs. Culpepper organizing it.
I didn't take too many people shots this year. I was more into the decoration. I loved the "fruits of the spirit" theme. Lovely idea the young Culpepper's thought up!
Below Pic: I really like this pic of the Brown's with Aubrey. Aubs smiled right after I shot the pic. That is what you get when you take the pic out of surprise before your subject is ready, but still beautiful as always! ;-)
That's about it for the people pics. Here are pics of the "fruits of the spirit" theme. Each table had a different fruit of the spirit and a different physical fruit as well.
Even though I wasn't at the table of joy, it was one of my favorites. I liked the brightness that the color of the lemons added, and who doesn't like joy! :-) Below is how the full table of joy looked.
Below Pic: The table of temperance was another fav. I thought the grapes looked fab, and who wouldn't be temperament sitting at such a beautiful table of temperance. :-)
The table of Meekness! This is the table I was assigned to sit at. A lovely group there! .......great fellowship there, and who wouldn't like being reminded of the fruit of meekness, especially since I'm woman. ;-)
Below is a pic of how the table of meekness looked like in full.
Yeah, another shot with people! Going back in time, while everyone was being seated, a few of the IA young people were so kind to play live music for everyone.
The Food!
...and here is the food! It was first class quality fit for royalty. I know that had to be a lot of hard work that the Krueger's put into that with their crew of hard working AC students. I didn't know if I was going to make it through the last "main entree."
Though I couldn't share in the love being lactose intolerant with mint ice cream for dessert, thanks to Mr. T. Lugo for "loaning" me his dessert as my dessert model. Don't worry, his dessert was successfully returned to him, and he was able to enjoy it after the brief photo shoot of it. :-) Great evening of food, fun, and fellowship fit for royalty. Gave me some good ideas for private dinner parties I may have in the future.
Anyway, cheers to a great dinner with some "great fruits." :-)
